Annual Mass Vaccination Exercises

The Sierra County Public Health Department conducts Pandemic Flu Mass Vaccination Exercises every Fall. These events are commonly referred to as Flu Shot Drive-Thru Clinics.

October 6 Loyalton - Loyalton High School Parking lot
Tuesday 4pm – 6pm

October 8 Downieville - Behind the Community Hall on Maiden Lane
Thursday 11am – 1pm

October 13 Sierra City - Sierra Skies RV Park
Tuesday 11am – 1pm

October 15 Calpine - In front of the Calpine Community Hall
Thursday 11am – 1pm

October 27 Verdi - Von Schmitt Park
Tuesday 11am – Noon

October 29 Pike - In front of the Pike Fire Hall
Thursday 10:30am – 11:30am

October 29 Alleghany - In front of the Alleghany Fire Hall
Thursday 1pm – 2pm

Flu shots are recommended for everybody 6 months and older.

In order to limit close contact and gathering, please come in a vehicle and remain in the vehicle. Filling out your form in advance will speed up the process. 

These exercises meet requirements of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) Work Plans as well as provide a convenient and cost-effective way for community members to receive annual influenza vaccinations.
