Our Coalition meets regularly to address our rural tobacco issues and there are opportunities for all to participate!
We are building capacity around Electronic Smoking Devices, Flavors, 100% Smoke Free Campus' and all the new legislation including Tobacco 21.
Addressing our rural health issues by supporting the well-being of residents through education, outreach and advocacy. Our efforts are directed toward encouraging youth and community members to become leaders that facilitate educated choices.
Collaborating with providers to ask and refer clients to cessation services.
Community education to address the dangers of e-cigarettes and flavors, the benefits of smoke free policies, the tobacco retail environment, and tobacco-related determinants of health.
Providing cessation services in county.
Date: Meetings are usually held one Friday per month.
