The Sierra County Board of Supervisors will meet in special session commencing at 10:00 a.m. on August 24, 2020 via teleconference.  This meeting will be recorded for posting on the Board of Supervisors' website at www.sierracounty.ca.gov.

In accordance with Govenor's Executive Order pertaining to the convening of public meetings in response to COVID-19 pandemic, the County of Sierra will hold meetings of the Board of Supervisors via teleconference. The Board of Supervisors' Chambers will remain closed until further notice.

SIERRA COUNTY STATE OF LOCAL EMERGENCY

1) Discussion and status reports on the Loyalton Fire and other regional fires in progress.
2) Discussion of fire severity concerns throughout the County and drought conditions impacting water supply and agricultural operations.
3) Discussion and approval of ratification of Director of OES proclamation of a state of local emergency for Sierra County including any appropriate amendments proposed by the Board of Supervisors to affirm the emergency declaration.
