Substance Use Disorder/Perinatal Services Program

Sierra County Behavioral Health provides treatment and support services for women with children and pregnant women who struggle with addictions.

Our Substance Use Disorder (SUD)/Perinatal Services Program serves the following individuals:
a. Pregnant women;
b. Women with dependent children;
c. Women attempting to regain custody of their children;
d. Postpartum women and their children; or
e. Women with substance exposed infants.

Among women with SUDs, pregnant women require more urgent treatment services and critical, high-risk prenatal care due to the harmful effects of drug use on the fetus. SUD programs serving pregnant and parenting women provide preference to pregnant women.

Specifically, SUD treatment programs provide priority admission to treatment in the following order:

(1) Pregnant injection drug users;
(2) Pregnant substance users;
(3) Injection drug users; and
(4) All others.

All Services are Discreet and Confidential
Fees are based on a sliding scale
