Green Waste Restrictions
Beginning July 1, 2025, Sierra County Transfer Stations will no longer be able to accept wood rounds, limbs or branches greater than 10 inches in diameter. Until further notice, green waste will NOT BE ACCEPTED at the Sierra City Transfer Station. Green waste is accepted at the Alleghany, Loyalton, Ramshorn, and Sattley Transfer Stations.
Delleker Transfer Station Green Waste Facility will accept all green waste for a fee.

Notification of non-compliance of
separation by type the load will be charged at the gate price as a contaminated
load.
