The clerk of the Board of Supervisors is a division of the Clerk-Recorder’s Office and the county clerk is the ex officio clerk of the board.
Responsibilities
The clerk of the board’s principal responsibilities are to prepare and post the agenda for the Board of Supervisors' bi-monthly public meetings, and to maintain and publish the records of those proceedings. The clerk of the board maintains the roster of the boards, commissions, and committees for which the board has appointing authority, and is responsible for preparing and posting the Local Appointment List, and any new and unscheduled appointments.
